This Nature Therapy Session has been designed to provide therapeutic benefits while fostering a deeper bond with both the land and ourselves, offering lasting insights and connections. Whether you seek restoration, educational learning, or just a chance to experience  Alnoba’s beautiful land, this session aims to consciously support all participants as we gather to embrace the wisdom of nature and those who have come before us.

We respectfully acknowledge the rich lineage of wisdom that informs this animistic practice, drawing inspiration from shamanism, which emphasizes the interconnectedness of all living beings and the profound relationship between humans and nature. As we navigate the land, we honor the teachings of various cultures that have celebrated the natural world, recognizing the importance of nurturing our bond with the elements around us.

Our journey will incorporate the Japanese practice of forest bathing, inviting participants to immerse themselves in the therapeutic embrace of the woods and pause to appreciate the beautiful art installations throughout the property. Guided breathwork and visualization techniques will serve to deepen our awareness and engagement with the environment, helping us to cultivate a sense of peace and connection

Together, we will explore the unique characteristics of the land and the elements that shape it, fostering a deeper understanding of our place within this ecosystem. As we identify trees, plants, and wildlife, we will share insights and teachings that honor the diverse communities and educators who have paved the way for this transformative work.

What to expect: Opening circle, guided nature walk, mindfulness practices, nature education, and a closing share.

What to bring: Weather-appropriate clothing, water, a small journal (optional), and an open heart and mind.

We look forward to walking with you.
