Guided Hikes

When Rooted Rose sets out on an adventure, the work goes beyond the physical act of hiking—it's a guided exploration aimed at connecting you with yourself, nature, and a supportive community. Our guided hikes are not just about reaching summits; they're about building resiliency, cultivating joy, and attuning your senses to the messages that the earth holds for us.

All levels of expertise are not only welcome but embraced and celebrated OFTEN in our community. Whether you're stepping onto the trail for the first time, aspiring to achieve new hiking goals, or an experienced trekker seeking the camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts, we've designed our hikes with you in mind. Our commitment is to guide you safely every step of the way, ensuring an enriching experience that transcends the physical journey.

As responsible stewards of the land, we take pride in securing the right insurance and permits with the White Mountain National Forest. This not only guarantees a safe and enjoyable experience for you but also reflects our dedication to giving back to the environment that inspires our adventures. Immerse yourself in the exploration of local flora and fauna, gain valuable outdoor skills, and join us in fostering a profound connection with the earth.

Embark on a journey with us—one where each step is an opportunity to rediscover yourself, connect with a supportive community, eat delicious homemade lunches and listen to the whispers of the natural world. We can't wait to welcome you to our guided hikes and share in the transformative magic that nature offers.

Testimonials

“Erika and Dom were so prepared with resources for people to borrow or purchase leg gators and nano spikes. Dom and Erika emulate so much enthusiasm and make you feel safe, prepared and capable of adventure in the outdoors.

They provided great tidbits of information throughout the hike and made the most delicious lunch full of healthy and filling options.”

“Such a beautiful opportunity to be grateful to nature and be present in the moment. It was only a few hour experience, but in that time they harbored a beautiful community that supported one another.

What Erika and Dom have to offer is something that everyone should experience. I cannot wait for my next outing with Rooted Rose!”
